The essentials: safe enough to share.
Is your app deployed to a public URL that loads for someone who isn't you?
Is a real, managed database connected — data created in the live app actually saves?
Does your live app show the HTTPS padlock, never “Not secure”?
Are all keys in environment variables — nothing hardcoded, and any exposed key rotated?
Have you signed up as a fake user end-to-end and completed your app's core action?
Level 2 · Doing it right
Stability and trust: safe to grow.
Do you build in a separate development or staging setup — never editing the live app directly?
Does your code live in GitHub (or equivalent), so you own it and can roll back any change?
Are database access rules (like RLS) enabled — verified that one user cannot see another's data?
Are automatic backups on — and have you successfully restored one at least once?
Will error monitoring and an uptime monitor tell you when things break, before your users do?
Do automated tests — lint, types, and a few end-to-end journeys — gate your production deploy?
Are your Privacy Policy and Terms published, with the GDPR/CCPA basics handled?

Operating a real product.
Do database indexes exist on the columns you filter, search and secure by?
Are billing alerts on, and do you review costs regularly?
Do you have a simple incident process for the day it breaks with real users on it?
