Web3 Veterans, the UK not-for-profit supporting veterans in emerging technology sectors, and NoCodeLab.ai, the Manchester-based AI skills and capability building company, will present the findings of an initial veterans pilot programme at the House of Lords on Friday 6 March 2026. The invitation-only event brings together approximately 100 parliamentarians and industry leaders to explore AI skills as a new employment pathway for veterans.
Web3 Veterans is dedicated to helping military veterans transition into emerging technology sectors. Through membership programmes, training initiatives and its Parliamentary Awards, it has built a trusted community connecting veterans with new career pathways, committed to the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant.
NoCodeLab.ai has transformed over 1,500 individuals, entrepreneurs and business owners of all ages and backgrounds since May 2025 through its Vibe Coding methodology, enabling people with no technical background to build working AI applications. Not simply another training provider, the company is recognised as a transformation catalyst: activating innovation and problem-solving capabilities already present within people and organisations, delivering real solutions rather than teaching theory.
In 2025, the two organisations formed a training partnership. Web3 Veterans co-founder Mark Horsham, himself a veteran, enrolled in the NoCodeLab.ai Accelerator, an intensive programme certifying trainers in the Vibe Coding methodology. Having completed the full programme, Mark became a certified delivery partner, positioned to bring this approach directly to the veteran community he has spent years serving.
In February 2026, Mark conducted his first training session with fellow veterans, putting the veteran-to-veteran model into practice. Veterans with no prior technical background built working digital applications during the session. This peer-led approach, veterans training veterans and building trust from the ground up, is central to the programme's design.
These findings will be shared at the House of Lords on 6 March, alongside plans for developing and expanding the programme with industry and government support. A key goal of the event is to explore philanthropic and corporate backing for the next phase, with attending organisations invited to consider placements, funding and in-kind support for future pilots.
Dr Lisa Cameron, co-founder of Web3 Veterans, former three-term senior parliamentarian and founder of the UKUS Crypto Alliance, said: "Veterans bring extraordinary discipline and resilience to everything they do. This pilot demonstrates that with the right methodology, they can build real AI solutions that create immediate value. The House of Lords is exactly the right place to show what becomes possible when parliament, industry and innovation work together for veterans."
Mark Horsham, co-founder of Web3 Veterans alongside Dr Cameron, said: "I was writing code for games in the early nineties, then went on to serve. Life took me a long way from technology. When I went through the NoCodeLab programme I realised that my digital instincts were still there, but the tools had become extraordinary. You no longer need years of technical training to create something real. That is why I am committed to bringing it to as many of my fellow veterans as possible."
Sara Simeone, founder and lead curriculum architect at NoCodeLab.ai, said: "I have seen first-hand what veterans are capable of when you give them the right tools. They are disciplined and fast learners, exactly the qualities that make exceptional AI builders. But it is critical we keep humans in the loop. Our approach is not about replacing human judgement. It is about augmenting it. Veterans understand this instinctively."
Web3 Veterans and NoCodeLab.ai hope to grow the programme nationally, making AI no-code skills accessible to veterans across the UK. Industry and government support will be key to making that possible.
