Transforming Agency Operations through Proprietary AI Integration
No Brainer, a Warrington-based PR and marketing agency, successfully pivoted from being a consumer of third-party AI tools to a creator of proprietary technology.
Through a learning partnership with NoCodeLab, the agency bridged the gap between AI theory and operational utility, equipping its team, including junior staff and interns, with the capabilities to build functional, custom AI solutions in-house.

The Challenge: Facing a rapidly evolving market, No Brainer needed to remain competitive against industry peers who were also launching AI-based products. The agency recognised that simply utilising off-the-shelf tools was insufficient. They required a deeper strategic pivot to:
Move beyond theory: Transition from abstract AI guidance to operational utility.
Build internal capability: Upskill the entire team to solve business problems internally rather than relying on external developers.
Own the Intellectual Property: Retain full IP rights over their proprietary frameworks to ensure long-term independence and value.
The Solution: A Pivot from Strategy to Software: No Brainer partnered with NoCodeLab for a high-intensity "Team Intensive" model, transforming their boardroom into an agile product laboratory.
Accelerated Development: In a single eight-hour session in December 2025, the team progressed from initial concepts to four working Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).
The 'Vibe Coding' Methodology: Using NoCodeLab’s proprietary methodology, non-technical team members were upskilled to build solutions based on their own live data and systems, including prompt engineering and rapid prototyping.
Operational Autonomy: The agency successfully retained 100% IP ownership of all tools, including SEER (a strategic dashboard for search, AI, and social discovery) and a real-time PR trends dashboard.
Strategic Impact: The collaboration fundamentally shifted the agency's operational approach, providing immediate technical gains and long-term strategic advantages:
Commercial Maturity: The agency moved from "AI theory" to "operational utility," successfully launching their flagship product commercially in June 2026.
Cultural Transformation: The initiative nurtured internal 'AI champions' across all levels of the agency, fostering a culture of experimentation and confidence.
Market Positioning: As of mid-2026, No Brainer is recognised as a pioneer in AI integration within the Northern agency community, successfully navigating the transition from a traditional PR firm to an AI-integrated agency.
Continuous Evolution: The agency can now ensure that its AI capabilities continue to evolve in lockstep with market demands.
A WORD FROM THE FOUNDER
Gary Jenkins, MD at No Brainer, said: “Seer is a powerful intelligence engine built around a simple idea: that marketing leaders need far better visibility of where commercial growth is actually coming from in a world where search behaviour is changing rapidly.
“People aren’t just Googling anymore. They’re discovering brands through AI summaries, Reddit threads, TikTok searches, comparison content and a whole range of other touchpoints. We wanted to create a platform that reflects this reality and helps brands make smarter, more informed decisions around content, channels and investments.
“One of the biggest frustrations in modern marketing is trying to make sense of disconnected data sources, sometimes from multiple agency partners. Seer brings all this data together to identify the clearest routes to revenue growth across SEO, AI visibility, content strategy, and digital PR.”
The platform helps brands uncover revenue opportunities, prioritise channels and shape campaigns around the modern customer discovery journey - from SEO keywords, AI-generated answers and TikTok searches, to Reddit discussions and comparison content. It has been developed in-house by the North West-based agency’s team, working in partnership with AI skills and capability consultancy NoCodeLab.ai.
Jenkins added: “We think Seer is a great example of what can happen when agencies properly invest in AI capability, and I’m so proud of our team for building this powerful new product. The tool was developed collaboratively, in partnership with our clients and industry leaders, and it’s the first of several new generation products we’ll be bringing to market.”
Features within Seer include competitor landscape analysis, AI visibility tracking, audience and persona insights, content planning tools, campaign opportunity mapping and revenue forecasting based on achievable traffic and performance data.
The platform will begin rolling out across No Brainer’s client base over the coming weeks, with additional AI-powered products currently in development.
